Important Announcements for All Plan Participants

Thousands of merchants across the United States have installed sophisticated computer technology called IIAS that allows you to use your 24HourFlex Card without providing copies of receipts to 24HourFlex. For a current listing of these merchants and pharmacies click here.

 

Per IRS regulations, beginning 7/1/2009, All flex debit cards, including the 24HourFlex Card will NOT work at any pharmacy in the United States unless they have installed the IIAS technology or unless the pharmacy has pre-certified that 90% of the items they sold to customers in 2007 were flex-eligible. If a pharmacy can provide to 24HourFlex a 90% Certification Statement, the flex debit card will work at the pharmacy but receipts must still be submitted to 24HourFlex, per the IRS regulations.

 

Kaiser Pharmacy Update, Colorado(June 15, 2009)
Effective 7/1/2009, the 24HourFlex debit card will continue to work at the Kaiser Pharmacies in Colorado. However, unless the participant’s debit-card charge equals a health-plan’s co-pay amount, (e.g., $20 or $30), receipts must be submitted to 24HourFlex to verify the expense. Per our conversations with Kaiser personnel, Kaiser expects to have IIAS in place in their Colorado pharmacies within 90 days.

24-hour Turnaround…Advanced Claims Imaging Technology together with a staff dedicated to service makes 24-hour Flex Claims processing a reality. Usually, a participant’s completed Claim Form is reviewed and a check or direct deposit is processed within one business day, weekends and holidays excluded. In 2008 over 98% of the Flex Claims were processed within 24 hours.

Cafeteria/HRA Help Center...Plan participants can call the 24HourFlex.com Help Center at (303) 369-7886 or (800) 651-4855 from 8am to 5pm MST and receive assistance. These specialists will provide helpful information such as assisting participants in determining whether a particular expense is eligible for reimbursement, explaining the IRS rules governing Cafeteria and HRA Plans, or verifying the receipt and payment of past claims.

Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff...The highly trained staff at 24HourFlex.com assists our clients and their plan participants every way we can. We focus on serving our clients and their employees.

Internet Cafeteria and HRA Information...Plan participants can view their account history via the Internet. Data such as the amount of their last reimbursement check, their claims history, and their account balance are available online. Other information is also available, such as a list of common eligible expenses and general Cafeteria and HRA information.

Complete Claim Form Online...Using the 24HourFlex.com website, participants can complete their Claim Form online.

Automatic Direct Deposit...Rather than printing and mailing a manual check, 24HourFlex.com can deposit the Cafeteria or HRA Reimbursement directly into a bank account specified by the plan participant.

24HourFlex Convenience Card Interface...By using a pre-approved, 24HourFlex Convenience Card, participants can have ready access to their funds, avoiding much of the paperwork associated with traditional claim processing.

Electronic Data Import...Clients can download all enrollment and contribution data to 24HourFlex.com in an Excel format, thus avoiding the hassle of paper reports.

Cafeteria/HRA Integration...Generally, participants do not need to submit separate claim forms for Cafeteria and HRA expenses. Rather, 24HourFlex.com will automatically apply the expense to the appropriate plan.
